The Bruno MD6 has 5 Electrodes Technology... We use 2-Well Technology with 2 enzymes on the strips to get HCT value and glucose value. The HCT value is determined and used to compensate and correct for glucose value for a fast and accurate test.
In other words, HCT value differs in different patients with gestational diabetes, dialysis etc. and its value will affect the glucose value in the individual. So with HCT value determined, accurate glucose level can be determined.
